It doesn’t matter if it’s Valentine’s Day and you want to impress your significant other or a casual evening with your roommate, friend, or your loved one. These easy dinner ideas for two are guaranteed to help you out!
Valentine’s Day is approaching and I am getting more and more emails and comments from you, guys, asking for main meal recipes for two to make for your romantic dinner. I actually have a bunch of them on the blog but there is no category to see all the recipes with 2 servings in one place. I plan to create one as soon as I become less busy.
Recipes for two is not a Valentine’s Day specialty even though the requests for them go through the roof in February. Me and my hubby, we are looking for such dinner ideas every single week for almost 10 years now. We are not fans of leftovers and we kinda love switching meals every evening (if we are not super busy, of course). I guess we are “foodies” (not my favorite word, that’s for sure).
Dinner ideas for two can also come in handy when you meet an old friend or share a meal with a roommate. They are awesome even if you live alone! In this case, you’ll have some leftovers but not a pile of them. There is nothing worse than eating the same non-fresh stuff for a week and feeling obliged to finish it all up because you don’t want to waste food. It’s even worse to throw it away (don’t do that, think about people who suffer from hunger).
Sorry for talking about sad things with Valentine’s day in the air! I’m a straightforward person: if I thought about something, I have to say it out loud.
Let’s get back to the fun part, though. The recipes! As I have already mentioned, I don’t have a category on the blog for all the recipes with 2 servings but I decided to collect whopping 21 easy dinner ideas for two featuring the best recipes from many different bloggers (including myself).
It’s way better than showing you my recipes alone because, oh boy, I wouldn’t come up with some great ideas other bloggers created! Let’s go!
